Join the Clergy Emergency League and the Wisconsin Council of Churches for a 90‑minute workshop to help clergy and congregational leaders prepare faithful, grounded worship and preaching for the July 4th weekend.
On Tuesday, June 9 at 6:00 pm (Central), we’ll share practical resources, hymnody, liturgical elements, and preaching guides designed to resist Christian nationalism and center the gospel during the July 4th weekend. The session will offer sample liturgy elements and worship resources, suggest focused lectionary analysis for July 5 texts, and highlight denominational social‑statement materials for congregational use.
This public, practice‑focused workshop is for pastors, music leaders, lay worship planners, and anyone responsible for shaping July 4/5 worship who wants concrete language, hymn suggestions, and liturgical tools to hold a faithful witness in worship.
