Immersion Trips at the Wisconsin State Capitol

The Wisconsin Council of Churches’ office is located just off the Capitol Square in Madison, and we would love to welcome your church to engage with faith-based advocacy through an immersion experience. Come for one day or for several.

Our staff would be excited to talk to you about:

  • Faith-based advocacy

  • Issue-specific topics (ie, immigration, hunger, LGBTQ+, etc), and how they play out at our state capitol

  • Help you set up meetings with your local representatives

  • Attending a legislative hearing

  • and more!

We are also willing to help you make connections with organizations (local and statewide) who are also working on issues important to our communities, find housing and service projects, and help you plan a trip that meets your needs.

Every summer, we host a 2 day, Youth and Faith Based Advocacy Immersion event focused on a specific theme (2025 was focused on immigration) that is excited to welcome youth groups from all over the state.
