Awaken Wisconsin
A movement of churches awakening to God’s call, forming life-giving friendships and partnerships, and growing in love for their home communities.
The Wisconsin Council of Churches is taking the five years of learning from Awaken Dane to new cities around the state. We will launch our first new cohort in Beloit, WI, in August 2026 and subsequently introduce new cohorts in additional cities in 2028 and 2030.

Awaken Dane: The Original Project
Awaken Dane launched in 2021 in partnership with Collaboration Project, University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, and Upper House Madison, and was fully funded by Lilly Endowment, Inc.

Awaken Beloit
We will join the Beloit Coalition of Churches to launch our first initiative since Awaken Dane beginning August 2026.
