This five-session series training program is designed to equip participants with the skills and understanding necessary to provide meaningful support to individuals experiencing difficult challenges, such as grieving the death of a loved one, adapting to the demise of a significant relationship, coping with a life-threatening medical diagnosis, and other life adversities. By focusing on the importance of presence and empathy, the training helps attendees learn how to be a source of comfort and assistance. In addition, participants will learn about the importance of self-care strategies and set boundaries to ensure their own well-being while being there for others.
