Labor in the Pulpits is just around the corner, and Worker Justice Wisconsin invites congregations across Wisconsin to participate in this annual tradition, celebrating the dignity of work and the importance of worker justice.
Held each Labor Day weekend, Labor in the Pulpits / On the Bimah / In the Minbar brings together faith communities to reflect on the connection between our values and the call to stand with workers seeking dignity, safety, and fairness on the job.
Participating is simple; congregations can incorporate worker justice into a sermon, prayer, educational program, or another part of their worship service in whatever way best fits their tradition.
Whether your congregation has been participating for years or is joining for the first time, Worker Justice Wisconsin would love to have you with them. Registration is now open, and participants will receive free worship resources and materials to make participation easy, which will be in the resource packet!
Register here.
For additional information, please contact faithoutreach@workerjustice.org.
The new resource packet will be posted on the website in late August. Resources from previous years are currently available here.
