Historically, during Labor Day weekend (and throughout the month of September), faith leaders participate in this program by sharing a reflection or sermon on worker justice with their respective communities during a worship service or education session. Your support of worker justice is crucial. When faith allies stand with workers, you give moral legitimacy to their efforts and a crucial public voice. Your support gives them courage and the knowledge that they are not alone.

This year’s theme is, “Being Faith Allies,” and we ask you to reflect on this question: As people of faith, what is our role in ensuring that low-wage and immigrant workers are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve? Worker Justice Wisconsin also understands that faith leaders have many demands on their time, and so they offer different ways to be involved. Participating in just one of the actions outlined below can make a difference.

To confirm your participation, please complete the brief registration form. If you have any questions during your planning process, please contact Worker Justice’s Faith Outreach Coordinator, Gretchen Baumgardt. Thank you!
