Become an Organizational Friend of the Council
Becoming an organizational Friend is a way for secular, faith-friendly organizations to indicate their support of the ministry of the Wisconsin Council of Churches (WCC).
Decision-Point Note: Faith-based organizations may wish to consider becoming an Ecumenical Partner to form a deeper connection to the network. Ecumenical partners submit an application to the Board of Directors and require final approval of the membership. Faith-friendly (but not faith-based) organizations should continue with Friends of the Council status.
Organizational Friends of the Council engage in compatible work with values aligned with those of the WCC, and make a recurring financial commitment to sustain the work of the WCC.
Organizational Friends are recognized in WCC materials and have opportunity for cross-promotion through eNews and website placement. Friends, Ecumenical Partner or Member status provides priority in limited-space situations.
Becoming a Friend highlights a key opportunity for collaboration and network-sharing that elevates the work of both organizations. WCC staff consult and reflect with Friends in areas of missional overlap, making introductions and facilitating efforts that promote neighbor care. Friends are a natural first go-to when formal collaborations are sought in a particular geography or field of expertise.
To become an organizational Friend, schedule an appointment with our Executive Director, and then complete your Friends membership here. (If you'd prefer to pay by check, please let us know, and we can make arrangements with you.)
