Faith leaders are often the first trusted voices survivors turn to after sexual assault or domestic violence. In this 60-minute virtual workshop, Simmone Kilgore, LPC (Manager of Healing Counseling at The Healing Center, a program of Aurora Healing & Advocacy Services) will share a trauma-informed, faith-centered framework for responding to disclosures, reducing shame, and strengthening community safety.

Participants will leave with practical steps to raise awareness during Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April) and year-round, and clear pathways for connecting survivors to counseling and advocacy resources.
