Were your church plans upended by stormy weather again on Ash Wednesday? Are you feeling burned up, burned out by the strains of pastoring over the past few years? Seen too much toxicity and struggling with questions of welcome? Musing about exit from heartbreaking institutions? Have an unrequited Spirit-driven love for the church and feeling it?
Let’s join together in sacred space and pray. Bring your laments, petitions, dreams for what might be. We are as dust, having been consumed by the fire. Let us remember for one hour the other side: stardust, the elements of creativity, the possibilities that we can hold together. Join us in a place of care and curiosity where we hold out a “just maybe” arising from Spirit and Love.
