Releasing the Christmas Season –

January 4th at 2:00pm over Zoom

After a busy Advent and Christmas season that was once again heightened by COVID concerns and precautions, pastors need more time than ever for rest and renewal. Join Rev. Nicole Havelka, a UCC clergy person and certified yoga instructor, in a 90-minute rejuvenating practice that will blend Christian ritual and scripture with restorative yoga and meditation that will ground you for your next season of leadership during Ordinary Time and Lent.

The practice will include:

  • Christian scripture and ritual
  • Gentle yoga movement (adaptable to all abilities)
  • Restorative yoga (the laying around kind)
  • Guided meditation
  • Reflection and journaling

Wear comfortable clothes, find a comfortable, quiet spot in your home and tune in via Zoom. There’s no pressure to turn on your camera and lots of encouragement to do whatever your body needs! Bring a yoga mat or towel, two blankets, two pillows and something to write with/on to the practice.

This practice will be welcoming and accessible for those new to the practice and to seasoned practitioners.
