Faithful Action for a Healthy Wisconsin,  November 16

Faith groups organized a statewide virtual rally to show support for health care workers serving our communities during the pandemic.  We lifted up public health officers and government officials who are promoting the Wisconsin Department of Health Services guidelines to stop the spread of COVID-19.  Nearly 200 clergy and people of faith around the state joined us. For public health reasons the event was entirely online.

Organizers and sponsors of this faith action included Wisconsin Council of Churches, Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice, WISDOM and WISDOM affiliates: CUSH, RIC, MICAH, ESTHER, JOSHUA, NAOMI, MOSES, JONAH, SOPHIA, JOB, and EXPO; the Lutheran Office for Public Policy Wisconsin, the Urban League of Greater Madison, Circle Sanctuary, Buddhist Peace Fellowship of Milwaukee, Rabbi Jonathan Biatch, and Rabbi Betsy Forester.
