Bridging Faiths for a Stronger Democracy:
Do’s and Don’ts for Faith Communities in an Election Year
Wednesday, September 9, 2020
7 PM – 8:30 PM CST
Hosted by The Interfaith Center at Miami University, Wisconsin Council of Churches and Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice
Your vote is your voice. How does voting express your deepest values and beliefs as a person of faith? How can clergy and congregations stay nonpartisan while urging people to exercise — and defend — the right to vote? Join an interfaith discussion to explore the connections between faith traditions and civic engagement. We will hear from a diverse group of religious leaders and learn about the challenges and opportunities for religious organizations to be engaged in voter education, registration and Get Out the Vote activities.
You must register for this event to receive the Zoom link.
Registrants will receive the link the day before the event.
