Together with our ministry partners in the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Wisconsin Council of Churches is pleased to announce that the Rev. Breanna Illéné will be joining the staff of the Council as of July 1st in the role of Curator of Content and Ecumenical Innovation Coordinator.
Rev. Illéné has an MA in Social Justice (Loyola University-Chicago), an MA in Christian Education (Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary) and an MDiv (Iliff School of Theology) and is a commissioned elder in the United Methodist Church. She will continue serving half time as the pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Madison, WI along with her role at the WI Council of Churches. Breanna is a homegrown Wisconsinite, born in the northwoods of Chippewa Falls. Her passions include community outreach and social justice.
The Curator of Content and Ecumenical Innovation Coordinator is a newly created position. This role includes communications; identifying, celebrating and sharing innovative ministries (particularly those involving ecumenical cooperation); building strategic relationships and broadening opportunities for ecumenical engagement.
