The Wisconsin Council of Churches works to help Christians in Wisconsin move into a deeper and more faithful reflection, confession and action in response to the challenges of being God's church in the midst of a hurting and threatened world of injustice, violence and degradation of creation. In this regard it has: 

• held annual forums in 2006 and 2007 featuring keynote speaker Dr. Walter Brueggemann.

• promoted regional groups which met and identified cultural sources of anxiety in four areas at the local, national and inter national levels.
